Founded in 2017, Tables and More has quickly established itself as a premier event furniture rental company based in Bridgwater. Serving locally within Somerset as well as places further afield such as Cornwall and London, we cater a diverse range of events. These range from small intimate parties and grand weddings to large festivals. Our extensive inventory is rapidly growing and includes everything we need to create memorable events. For instance, we offer everything from tables, chairs and linen to cutlery and crockery, gazebos, wedding aisle runners and more. Over the years, we have honed our skills and built a knowledgeable team capable of managing and executing all sorts of requests, ensuring each event is as unique as our clients.
Our Story
It all started in 2017 with the wedding of the founder of Tables and More, Chives, and his wife Charlotte. Chives was a busy businessman who was running multiple companies, Rocketman Fireworks and at the time his old company Power and Pyro. They were in need of furniture for their wedding when something clicked in Chives’s mind… Let’s start another business! Using his 25 years of experience within the events industry and his wife, Charlotte’s skills in dressing venues, Chives began, Tables and More. The new additions of Limewash Chiavari’s and 6ft Round, and 6ft Trestle tables really took an interest from Chives. Who would ever have thought he’d be taking the lead in this? But with every new adventure, there is a lot of learning and even finding out about kings pattern cutlery can be interesting.
Chives has the day-to-day running in hand at Tables and More along with his daughter, Phoebe and the rest of the team. Despite this, you will still see Charlotte on site every now and then as the fantasy and beauty of a wedding is still a very big lure.
